About the workshop

Our first public Inspired Mind Lab workshop brought children together at the Grace Centre in Rokeby for an introduction to robotics and coding using Dash Robots.

Across two age-based sessions, children had the opportunity to work with the robots, try coding activities and see how the instructions they created could control a physical robot.

Learning by doing

The workshop was designed to be beginner-friendly, with no previous coding or robotics experience required. Children could try ideas, see what happened, make changes and work through challenges as they went.
